concise pianist"
- Kieler Nachrichten
Described as a “wonderfully poetic and concise pianist” (Kieler Nachrichten), Augustinas Eidukonis is a multi-award-winning musician, most recently winning the Possehl Music Prize in Lübeck in 2021: “Augustinas Eidukonis is unanimously chosen as a convincing, serious and unpretentious prizewinner who was able to inspire with his intimate and thoughtful interpretation,” said the jury.
Augustinas Eidukonis was born in 1995 in Vilnius, Lithuania, into a family of musicians. He received his first piano lessons at the age of 4. During his school years at the “M. K. He graduated from high school in 2014.
His piano studies took him to Germany. He first studied his Bachelor of Music at the Lübeck University of Music, majoring in solo piano and piano pedagogy (class of Prof. Konrad Elser). He then continued his studies and graduated in 2022 with a Master of Music (majoring in piano), also at the Lübeck University of Music, with top marks.
He has broadened his musical horizons abroad.
